Civilian G-10 Black in 1990 at the request of government agencies Spyderco undertook the execution of a knife for secret civilian agents. Spyder serrated blade in the shape of an inverted letter "S" (Spyderco patent), with a concave cut (Hollow Grind) enables effective inflicting of deep cuts with considerable force on both the serrated cutting surface and ultra thin tip.
