COVID-19, is an acute infectious disease caused by the new coronavirus 2019 (SARS-CoV-2). The incubation period of the disease is from 1 to 14 days, although it is usually 3-7 days. Operating principles - MP Rapid 2019-nCoV IgG/IgM Combo Test Card uses the principle of immunochromatography. Mouse anti-human IgM and human IgG antibodies in complex with colloidal gold are immobilized on nitrocellulose membrane, respectively, as two individual test lines (IgM line and IgG line) in the window of the test plate. The IgM line is closer to the sample well, and the next line is the IgG line. After the sample is absorbed through the membrane, the 2019-nCoV antigen (if the sample is positive) binds to a complex of colloidal gold and specific antibodies (IgM and/or IgG) which leads to a colored band in the test region and indicates a positive test result. Absence of a colored bar in the test window indicates a negative test result. The built-in control line always appears when the test is performed correctly, regardless of the presence or absence of new antibodies to coronavirus 2019 in the sample.

Required, not included materials: timer or timer, safe puncture device, alcohol for washing, sample container, centrifuge, biological waste container, disposable gloves, disinfectant.

Storage:
1. Store test plates at 2 to 30°C in original sealed packaging. Do not freeze.
2. The expiration date, indicated on the package, has been established for the above storage conditions.
3. Test plates should remain in the original sealed pouch until use. Once opened, the test plates should be used immediately. Do not reuse the test.

4. Treat all samples as potentially infectious.
5. Follow standard laboratory procedures and biosafety guidelines for handling and disposing of potentially infectious material. After the procedure, the samples should be disposed of after autoclaving at 121°C for at least 20 minutes or after treatment with 0.5% sodium hypochlorite for 1-2 hours.
