52,64 €The Sigyn Neck Knife is a small, solidly built neck knife with a fixed full tang blade. Designed by Midgards Messer, a company founded by Dirk Hofmeister specializing in designing handy tactical knives combining Nordic mythology with modern outdoor knives.
Blade - Drop Point blade with a thickness of 4.6 mm. Made of D2 tool steel, characterized by high hardness and good blade retention. Plain blade, with a thick reinforcement for strength, was drawn with a Flat Grind, which provides excellent cutting properties. The blade has a Satin finish. On the back of the blade for a secure position of the thumb was made notches (jimping).
D2 - a blade made of high carbon tool steel. Due to its high content of 10-13% chromium it offers greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels. Combines strength, excellent edge holding and easy sharpening. It is characterized by high hardness in the range of 59-61 HRC and abrasion resistance.
Handle - made of black G10 composite attached to the tang with screws. Red spacers between the facings and the tang. Texturing of the handle improves grip security. At the back of the handle there is a lanyard hole for a safety or decorative cord.
Scabbard - flat, made of kydex, with holes on the edge for multi-position belt or neck chain attachment.
