3Cr13MoV - shortened name (3Cr13). Martensitic tool stainless steel. A high content of 13.0% chromium (Cr) and an average of 0.35% carbon (C) provide high corrosion resistance, while the addition of the alloying elements manganese 1.0% (Mn), silicon 1.0% (Si) and nickel 0.6% (Ni) increase the strength and hardness of the steel. The hardness of 3Cr13 is 54 HRC and can range from 52-55 HRC depending on the manufacturer. Easy to sharpen, widely used in the manufacture of knives, scissors and medical equipment.
Blade - Clip Point of stainless steel coated with a black protective coating. Combo type blade is derived with Flat Grind which provides strength, excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. The serrated part of the edge allows cutting very tough cables and fabrics without losing the sharpness of the rest of the blade. The long false blade increases piercing properties. To reinforce the blade, armor was made on both sides. A steel guard protects the hand from slipping on the blade.
Handle - made of disks of leather glued together with resin, with a slightly rough surface. The simple shape provides a comfortable, secure grip also with wet hands in any position. The massive head can serve as a hammer.
Sheath - made of leather, with the possibility of trouncing to the belt.
