Thug 2 Black G10, Black Stonewashed design of a hell of a knife designed by renowned custom knife maker Matt Christensen. Those familiar with Matt's work know how hard it is to get one of his knives. The Thug 2 with its aggressive tanto blade is definitely worth the purchase.

Nitro-V a new chrome-based martensitic stainless knife steel introduced by New Jersey Steel Baron (NJSB). The manufacturer used the existing superior AEB-L knife steel and upgraded it with nitrogen and vanadium to improve edge performance and achieve high hardness and extreme corrosion resistance, especially crucial in the marine industry and humid environments. Nitro V can be used in diving knives because of its resistance to staining and corrosion. The recommended working hardness is between 58-62HRC, and it has very good impact strength compared to other steels. It is harder than stainless powder steels such as M390, Elmax and S35VN. Therefore, Nitro-V will be a good fit for knives that require good strength.
Blade - modified tanto. It opens with a double-sided peg in the wedge, so right- and left-handed people can use it without any problems. Ceramic ball bearings are responsible for the smooth operation of the opening mechanism. For ease of sharpening, the beginning of the cutting edge starts with a small choil. A mixed grind was used in this case, in the rear part there is a high, concave grind for cutting and precision work, the so-called Hollow Ground Primary Bevel. In the front part we have a high Flat Ground reinforcing tip grind. To improve piercing capabilities, an unsharpened false blade was brought out in the upper part. The blade has been finished using the "Black Stonewashed" method. The whole is locked with the proven and popular liner lock.
Handle - beveled facings made of G10 plastic, a composite of fiberglass compressed with synthetic resin in black, attached to stainless steel liners. The surface of the covers with a tactile texture to improve grip confidence. The simple, sturdy design gives assurance of many years of use. The backspacer is made of the same material as the handle facings. The pivot is decorated with a stylized Civivi brand logo. The metal two-position deep left/right ascetic deep carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up position (blade tip up). In the backspacer recess, lanyard hole, a place for a cord.
