Böker Plus Kazhan Neck Knife by Alexander Krava (02BO069)

The Böker Plus Kazhan, designed by Alexander Krava, is a handy neck knife with a short sheepfoot blade that is ideal as a backup knife for everyday use due to its light weight. The young knifemaker from Lviv, Ukraine, places special emphasis on the aesthetics of his designs, which are convincing not only as reliable tools, but also as high-quality accessories. The skeletonized Kazhan is made of D2, with a dark stonewash finish. Weight-saving cutouts and three-dimensional milling give the knife a unique look. Comes with a lanyard, ball chain and custom-fitted Kydex sheath.

D2 - High-carbon tool steel blade. With a high 10-13% chromium content, it offers greater corrosion resistance than most high-carbon steels. Combines strength, excellent edge holding and easy sharpening. It is characterized by high hardness in the range of 59-61 HRC and abrasion resistance.

Blade - Sheepsfoot blade with a thickness of 3.3 mm. Plain Plain blade, the small thickness of the blade combined with a high flat grind (Flat Grind) gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. The blade has been finished using the Dark Stonewash method.

Handle - skeletonized, an extension of the wedge. Thanks to the full-width holes made in the handle, both a reduction in the weight of the knife and an improvement in grip reliability have been achieved. The hole at the back of the handle can be used as a lanyard hole, i.e. a hole for a safety or decorative cord. There are "toxic" style grooves all over the handle.

Sheath - flat, made of kydex, with holes on the periphery for multi-position mounting of a belt holder or neck chain.
