Subway Bowie FRN Black, the smallest version of the legendary Perrin Street Bowie Black Blade. Designed by Fred Perrin, former commander of the legendary French Army Commando and one of the best instructors of close combat and self-defense in Europe. An excellent neck knife that you can always carry with you!
LC200N - (also known as Z-Flint) ultra-corrosion resistant modern high nitrogen martensitic tool steel. Quite hard (60 HRC), it provides a combination of excellent strength, edge holding, chipping resistance and extreme corrosion resistance. Produced through a combination of the PESR process (pressurized electric slag remelting) and smart forging technology, resulting in an incredible increase in steel purity and a very fine, homogeneous microstructure. It contains 0.3% carbon, 15% chromium, 0.5% nitrogen, 0.95% molybdenum, 0.5% nickel and 1.0% manganese. Manufactured by ZAPP.
Blade - with a Bowie profile offers both strength and finesse, making it suitable for a wide range of cutting jobs, finished with an elegant Satin finish. The Plain blade is derived with a Saber Grind)which provides strength and the pronounced tapering of the blade towards the hilt reduces weight and improves cutting edge geometry.
Handle - injection molded FRN handle made of fiberglass-reinforced nylon (resistant to abrasion and cracking), fits very well in the hand, does not slip, can be easily operated in all conditions. Extended Jimping (textured grooves), notched thumb rest on the back of the blade, works perfectly with the molded Upper Jimping, textured support on the back of the handle for improved and comfortable grip. In the back of the handle a hole (lanyard hole) for a rope.
Sheath - protects from falling out and moisture, allows quick retrieval of the knife. The holster can be worn around the neck with the help of the included ball chain. The case is made of hardened polymer, Boltaron® plastic. Sheaths and holsters made of it are characterized by scratch and chemical resistance.

Ogólnie udany zakup, nóż bardzo fajny, poręczny, dobrze leży w dłoni - pewnie mimo krótkiej rękojeści. Sznureczek na dupce pozwala poprawić chwyt. Użytkowość noża oceniam na bardzo dobrą jest lekki a za razem samo ostrze dość długie, idealnie sprawdzi się do otwierania paczek, woreczków, ostrzenia ołówka czy nawet krojenia jedzenia (choć to trochę już naciągane...). W sprawach samoobrony się nie wypowiem bo nie po to noszę nóż. Na plus ciekawa stal o bardzo dobrych właściwościach.
Pochwa ciasna, aż za ciasna bym powiedział, nic nie grzechocze, ale na ostrzu pojawiają się już mokro ryski od wkładania i wyciągania noża. Sam nóż używam już ponad tydzień codziennie do lekkich prac i sprawdza się dobrze.
Cena troche wysoka, jeśli ktoś znajdzie w promocji to polecam.
