14C28N - a martensitic chromium stainless steel is the latest development in the range of knife steels produced by Sandvik's Swedish mills. An optimized chemical composition with a unique combination provides superior quality, excellent edge performance, high hardness and corrosion resistance. By reducing the amount of carbon 0.62% (C) and increasing the chromium content 14.0% (Cr), as well as adding nitrogen 0.11% (N), corrosion resistance has been significantly improved. Considered an improved version of 13C26 steel. Unbeatable in the price/quality category!

PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) - The resistance of the surface of the wedge and cutting edge has been increased by a vacuum deposition method used to deposit thin films by condensing an evaporated form of the desired material onto the surface of the workpiece. The coating method involves a purely physical process such as high-temperature vacuum evaporation followed by condensation. The applied coating has a very high hardness which significantly increases the resistance of the blade to rust and abrasive wear.

Blade - Drop Point type with a long cutting edge, coated with gray PVD coating. The small thickness of the blade combined with a high flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ball bearing ceramic supports the smooth operation of the opening mechanism of the wedge, which can be opened with a double-sided pin in the wedge (dual thumb stud). On the back of the upper jimping wedge, a notched thumb rest. The whole is locked with a solid button lock.

Handle - made of G10 composite, practically indestructible plastic, insensitive to weather conditions, resistant to chemicals and mechanical damage. Aggressive texture of the grips provides a secure grip, even with wet hands. The cover's chamfered edges eliminate sharp edges for comfort, and the finger undercut made on the front improves ergonomics. The open-backed design fixed with steel spacer sleeves reduces weight and makes cleaning easier. A two-position right/left deep carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up position (blade tip up).
