Extrema Ratio Pugio SE, Black (04.1000.0317/BLK)

Pugio SE (Single Edge) Black (back-up), continuing the form of the successful Pugio, Extrema Ratio has developed a new model Pugio SE with a single-sided blade, especially for users who value the reverse grip. The false blade is designed to support the thumb or the whole hand in accordance with the technique of fighting with two knives. Extrema Ratio is knife dedicated for professionals.

Pugio - a short knife of Roman legionaries, used for all work and fighting in close contact and for self-defense.

Bade - extremely sharp, massive with a Spear Point profile and a thickness of 6.3 mm with a false blade increasing piercing properties. Made of high-strength, rugged high-grade N690 stainless steel, 58 HRC hardness, manufactured by the Austrian Böhler steelworks. The blade is covered with a matt non-reflective MIL-C-13924 BURNISHING coating. On the back of the blade with a false blade was placed textured backrest, ramp for the thumb. Plain blade was made with a flat cut (Flat grind) ensuring excellent cutting properties.

Handle - cuddles grip made of technopolymer (reinforced nylon) provides lightness and a secure grip even with wet hands. A steel head with an enlarged oval hole (lanyard hole) that allows you to pull a leash or a safety rope, can act as a hammer / glass breaker.

Sheath - made of hardened polymer in black color. It allows safe carrying and quick knife picking. Three options for setting the angle of transport (horizontally, vertically and diagonally at an angle of 45 °). The holster is equipped with a single, automatic, pressure-activated safety device for quick gripping and cutting of the knife. Attaching the case allows it to be quickly clipped / unfastened, fits most straps with a width of 32-46 mm, and after removing the adjustment also for police belts. In order to prevent the sheath from sliding on the belt, the handle has two adjustment screws.
