MAM Filmam are one of the oldest (from 1870) knives producers. Knives with a 150-year tradition, famous around the world, called by users: Palacoula, also known as Operario. During the production of one pocket knife, 55 operations are performed. Hand sharpened. Official supplier to the Portuguese Maritime School. Made in Portugal.

Blade - about Drop Point profile, 1.4 mm thickness. Made of high quality German (ThyssenKrupp) AISI 420 stainless steel combined with VG-10 with an admixture of molybdenum, vanadium, silicon and coal. Blade with a hardness of 57 HRC. Smooth blade (Plain type) was made with a full flat cut (full flat grind), which combined with a slight thickness of the blade provides above-average cutting properties. Knife opened with an incision on the blade, called: nail nick.

Handle - made of one piece of varnished color, durable, light beech wood on both sides ended with reinforcing rings. The profiled grip does not cause fatigue even during long-term use. On one of the sides of the handle, the manufacturer's logo is burned. The grip of the handle is subjected to a fourfold impregnation process, thanks to which it is resistant to moisture and water, both sweet and sea salt.
