Balisong / butterfly / batangas / taal / butterfly, a type of folding knife used for defense. The name of the folder comes from the town of Balisung in the Philippines, meaning a butterfly singing. Dating back to the 7th century AD, it is considered one of the oldest weapons in the Kali combat system. This is one of the most recognizable types of knives in the world.
Blade - with a Clip Point profile made of hardened in the range 55-57 HRC, corrosion-resistant durable 440 stainless steel. Smooth blade (Plain type) was made with a concave cut (Hollow Grind), which perfectly presents a satin finish. A solid kicker, after folding the knife, prevents the blade from coming into contact with the inside of the handle and damaging the cutting edge.
Handle - carefully processed, textured grips made of lightweight G-10 Black material. The profiled covers are bolted to the arms of the handle made of solid stainless steel. The open-backed design simplifies cleaning. The Magnetic Latch lock allows the arms to be closed in both the open and closed position. On the backs of the handles, upper jimping, notched thumb rests. Left-sided clip for carrying the knife in the tip-up position.
Freme - the handles are covered with decorative red fiber spacers, to which the grip linings are attached.Technical Specification:
