420H - a high-carbon martensitic stainless steel with an increased carbon (C) content of 0.17% to 0.23%, also containing chromium (Cr) and molybdenum (Mo) offers high hardenability in the 54-58 HRC range, as well as strength, toughness, machinability and excellent corrosion resistance. The high carbon content produces chromium carbide compounds, providing wear resistance and edge retention after hardening. Due to its high hardness, the steel is suitable for manufacturing cutting tools, knife blades and medical instruments.
Blade - with a modified 3.6 millimeters Clip Point profile. The blade is covered with a non-reflexive Satin Finish (semi-matte) coating that eliminates glare. Smooth blade (Plain type), derived edged concave (hollow grind) ensure a good cutting properties. Steel on both sides of the blade, protects the hand from slipping during work.
