The Microtech Ultratech Gen IV is a fantastic OTF that impressed me from the very first grip. It feels extremely solid in hand while still being compact and well balanced. The Spartan blade with the Apocalyptic finish gives it a lot of character, and the fit and finish on my example are excellent. The action is smooth, the trigger has a light and crisp pull, and blade play is minimal. Compared to the Scarab II, the Ultratech feels more refined and streamlined, while the Scarab is more of a rugged “tank.” Overall, an excellent Microtech — great build quality, perfect size, and an incredibly satisfying action.

No words needed to describe this knife. PM2 was always a solid choice. The upgrade to a salt version and to Magnacut is perfect! I really do like the new handle design of the salt version, very grippy!

The best slicer from my Microtech circus. Very comfortable to wear and handy to work with. Unique and evil look thanks to tiger stripes. The handle has sharp edges (due to plastic nature), which can be nicely smoothed with sandpaper for more pleasant feeling. One of the best options on the market at this price point.
