Astra Arms STG-15 SA cal 223 Rem barrel 20" rifle - G15-A1

STG-15 is a Swiss-made semi-automatic rifle manufactured by Astra Arms, built on the AR-15 platform. The G15-A1 variant is chambered in .223 Remington and equipped with a 20-inch barrel. This configuration preserves the proportions of a full-size rifle with styling inspired by the M16 design.

Design and Features

The rifle is equipped with a top RIS / Picatinny rail, providing a standardized mounting interface for compatible accessories. The design also incorporates a carry handle with an aperture rear sight.

The iron sights are adjustable for both elevation and windage. This arrangement reflects the classic configuration found on full-size rifles based on the AR-15 system.

AR-15 Platform in .223 Remington

The Astra Arms STG-15 utilizes the AR-15 platform architecture. The G15-A1 retains the characteristic receiver layout, pistol grip, stock, and carry handle, while the 20-inch barrel gives it the proportions typical of a full-size rifle configuration.

The model designated G15-A1 is chambered for the .223 Remington cartridge. The caliber is one of the key identifying specifications of this STG-15 variant and should correspond with the markings on the firearm and the manufacturer's documentation.
