Sentry S26 is a hardened Friction Loc expandable baton manufactured by the American company ASP, offering a very good price-to-quality ratio. The model is equipped with a Santoprene grip, a Black Chrome finish, and steel components made from seamless tubes of AISI/SAE 4130 steel. The baton length is 26".
S26 is the longest model in the Sentry baton series, chosen by users who expect maximum reach and maximum operational effectiveness. Its longer construction provides greater working distance and better control in situations requiring a safe distance to be maintained. Armament System and Procedures Inc. (ASP) is an official supplier of expandable batons to more than 120 government agencies in the United States and worldwide. Handle - Strike Force® Grip made from durable Santoprene synthetic rubber with a hardness of 60 durometer. The aggressive surface texture provides a secure grip and better baton control, even with wet hands.
Black Chrome - a very hard coating with high abrasion resistance, applied to steel in a process similar to electroplating. The Black Chrome finish provides a deep black color, does not flake or chip, and increases the corrosion protection of the steel components.
Steel - the baton components are made from seamless, cold-drawn tubes of AISI/SAE 4130 Cro-Mo alloy steel, containing chromium and molybdenum. The material has been hardened to 40–45 HRC, providing high resistance to deformation during intensive use. The steel is characterized by high resistance to mechanical stress, tensile loads, bending, and impact. Its tensile strength is 201,000 PSI, approximately 1,386 MPa.
