VIPER-11A professional hunting knife for pelting with a fixed blade made by Muela Company. Perfectly balanced, designed for hunting enthusiasts, made of MoVa molybdenum-vanadium steel.
X50CrMoV15 (1.4116) - molybdenum-vanadium high carbon martensitic stainless steel, highly resistant to corrosion and wear. Used in the manufacture of knives, high-end cutlery and surgical instruments. It is characterized by a fairly high, for stainless steels, hardness of 56-58 HRC. The chemical composition of the steel was enriched by doping 15.0% Chromium, 0.80% Molybdenum, 0.20% Vanadium.
Blade - solid, 4.1 mm thickness with excellent mechanical properties a Hook blade type - on the ridge, the pelting hook. Smooth blade Plain was made with concave cut (Hollow Grind). The Satin Finish (semi-matte) coating eliminates glare. The long notched ramp for the thumb (on the spine of the blade) and the Finger Choil, the profiled undercut to the index finger between the handle and the cutting edge increase the control of the knife.
