Made of the Myodo Foundry steel produced in the Japanese foundry, high-chromium, low-carbon (rolled without heat treatment) H-1 stainless steel with a hardness 57-58 HRC. It contains 14-16% chromium, 0.15% carbon, 3-4.5% silicon and 1% nitrogen. Knife can stay in water, also sea water, does not rust even when it remains moist after use. The result was obtained by adding chromium and nickel to the steel, as well as replacing some of the carbon with nitrogen. All internal steel parts have been specially treated, making them resistant to rust and salt.
Blade - with a Clip Point profile, 2.5 mm thickness. Smooth blade (Plain type) was made with concave cit (Hollow Grind) for effective and deep cuts. An enlarged 14 mm round cut in the SpyderHole blade (Spyderco patent) increased the hump of the thumb support (notched rib) and enabled the knife to be opened with wet hands and a glove. Solid Back-Lock with additional Boye Detent cut-out, preventing accidental release of the lock with a strong grip of the knife.
Handle - full-sized covers, identical to those in Delica 4, for quick finding of bright yellow-marine color (Marine Yellow). Made of FRN (Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon), fiberglass-reinforced nylon (Bi-Directional Texturing) provides a bi-directional glove handle as well as greasy or moist hands. Solid titanium clip with the possibility of mounting in four planes (up / down, right / left) 4-way clip positions. Notching cuts on the handle - Spine Jimping - increases comfort and grip. At the back of the linings was placed a gap (lanyard hole) to pull the leash or rope.
