Muela Bisonte-11.OL Olive Wood Knife, Satin X50CrMoV15

Bisonte-11.OL hunting knife for pelting with a fixed blade and full-tang construction. Perfectly balanced, designed for hunters, it works as a universal knife. Manufactured from MoVa molybdenum-vanadium steel.

X50CrMoV15 (1.4116) - molybdenum-vanadium high-carbon, martensitic stainless steel, highly resistant to corrosion and wear. Used in the manufacture of knives, high-end cutlery and surgical instruments. It is characterized by a fairly high, for stainless steels, hardness of 56-58 HRC. The chemical composition of the steel is enriched with an admixture of 15.0% chromium (Cr), 0.80% molybdenum (Mo), 0.20% vanadium (V).

Blade - solid, 4 mm thickness with excellent mechanical properties with a Guthook profile, ideal for skinning (a hook for skinning was placed on the back). Smooth blade (Plain type) was made concave cut (Hollow Grind). The Satin Finish (semi-matte) coating eliminates glare.

Handle - ergonomic, profiled under the hand provides a secure grip during work. Covered with claddings made of natural olive wood. Fastening rivets made of high-nickel brass. In the back of the handle was placed a gap for a rope.

Sheath - hand-stitched, made of top quality brown cowhide with embossed manufacturer's logo. The edges of the case are stitched with decorative thread. Fastened with a Prym type snap. The belt attachment allows the knife to be carried in an upright position.
