PoleStar G-10 Gray / BD1 Plain - is one of the best folders available on the market. It has all the necessary features of the Spyderco knife. Polester's functionality sets a new standard for knives available at an affordable price. Perfect design - exemplary ergonomics - a wide blade profile - a full-sized handle. Blade - solid, 3.2 mm thickness solid and with Leaf Shaped profile provides excellent cutting edge geometry at low friction. The cutting edge was made with a Full Flat Grind cut. Smooth blade (Plain type) extends over the entire length of the blade, enabling powerful cuts with the blade heel. The blade is made of corrosion-resistant, well-gripping American CTS BD1 stainless steel. This phenomenal steel is manufactured in the USA by the Carpenter steel mill. An enlarged 14 mm round SpyderHole cut-out (Spyderco patent) makes it easier to open the blade with cold or wet hands as well as in a glove. The notched thumb ramp makes knife control easy.
Skeleton - made of solid stainless steel tiles - provides exceptional strength of the structure, while at the same time creating the basis for blocking the blade - Liner-Lock, Michael Walker. The whole has been screwed with torx screws to facilitate the twisting and unfolding of the folder.
Handle - profiled, covered with non-slip textured gray linings. Made of material G-10 (durable, resistant to high and low temperatures, chemicals). A solid cut in one of the covers guarantees intuitive access with the right hand to cut SpyderHole as well as to release the blockade of the blade. The folder is equipped with a solid metal screw-on clip with the possibility of fixing in four planes (up / down, right / left). 4-way clip positions. In the rear part of the handle, was placed a hole (lanyard hole) enabling the installation of a security cable.
