X50CrMoV15 (1.4116) - molybdenum-vanadium high-carbon, martensitic stainless steel, highly resistant to corrosion and wear. Used in the manufacture of knives, high-end cutlery and surgical instruments. It is characterized by a fairly high, for stainless steels, hardness of 56-58 HRC. The chemical composition of the steel is enriched with an admixture of 15.0% chromium (Cr), 0.80% molybdenum (Mo), 0.20% vanadium (V).
Blade - Bowie profile with a thickness of 4.5 mm, offering excellent mechanical properties and long-lasting edge retention. The Plain edge is ground with a hollow grind for superior cutting performance. The Satin Finish (semi-matte) reduces glare. At the base of the blade, a double guard made from polished brass protects the hand from slipping onto the blade.
