LionSteel Santos Wood, Satin Blade Sleipner (M5 ST)

M5 Santos Wood a medium sized, multi-purpose knife from the Italian manufactory LionSteel. The goal was to create an easy to carry, reliable knife with low weight for all kinds of outdoor work. Versatile outdoor knife with full tang construction and Swedish Sleipner steel head, aimed at survivalists, hunters and other lovers of all outdoor activities.

Design by Molletta, designed by well-known and respected Italian designer with many years of experience. Michele Pensato (aka Molletta), is distinguished by a new approach to the use of materials and experiments in the application of heat treatment and the use of advanced software in the design of knives.

Sleipner - a chrome-molybdenum-vanadium, high-alloy universal tool steel with high wear and chipping resistance. Achieves high hardness of 60-61 HRC. Manufactured in Uddeholm steelworks in Sweden.

Blade - extremely sharp Drop Point shape, with marked belly, ideal for all kinds of work. Satin smooth Plain blade with high Flat Grind, high grind guarantees excellent cutting properties. The enlarged rim protects the hand from slipping on the blade.

Handle - convex grip facings made of exotic Santos wood. Profiled and machined for better ergonomics, provides secure grip. Mounted with Torx T8 stainless steel screws. Flat bolt helps to light a fire with flint, in case of emergency can be used as a hammer or glass breaker, additionally lanyard hole, hole for cord.

Scabbard - extended, protecting the blade with part of the handle. Hand sewn, made of natural brown leather with embossed producer logo. The edges of the case are sewn with double decorative thread. The case is fastened with a Prym clasp. Mounting to the belt or to the equipment allows you to carry the knife in upright position.
