FOX Sherpa Canvas Micarta Knife 140mm (FX-610)

Sherpa, a heavy duty full tang knife by FOX. Directed to lovers of survival, ideal for mountain trips and in the forest. Extremely versatile due to its weight it is suitable for heavy work. The wide, massive blade provides a balance between strength and cutting edge geometry.D2 - high-carbon tool steel blade with 12% chrome blend, provides excellent edge grip. It is characterized by high hardness in the range of 58-61 HRC and resistance to abrasion.Black Idroglider® Stone Washed - the blade is covered with a matte, non-reflective PTFE coating, blackened outside the cut, and has been treated with Stone Washed finish that masks minor scratches.

Blade - wide with a Drop Point profile with a clearly marked belly. Upper jimping, notched thumb rest on the back of the blade and a finger choil, a finger undercut between the handle and the cutting edge, make it easier to control the knife. One-sided crossguard that prevents the hand from slipping on the blade.

Handle - profiled in OD Green color. Covered with non-slip waterproof micarta linings (micarta canvas), a durable and light composite material. Exposed steel head with lanyard hole, cable hole, can act as a hammer / breaker for tapping glass.

Sheath - extended, protects the blade along with part of the handle. Made of black leather with an embossed manufacturer's logo. Fastened with a Prym type latch. Attached to a belt or equipment, it allows you to carry the knife in a vertical or horizontal position.
