Contact C HCS (Compact Hybrid Coyote Sage) a compact version of the so-called back-up, full-size Contact multifunction knife. The goal was to create a more handy, easier to carry, but still reliable tool with a large blade for all kinds of outdoor use, including heavy field work. Thanks to its weight and balance, it performs excellently during hunting, outdoor activities and for defense.

The requirements of the modern battlefield force the modernization of the individual equipment (armament) of the soldier (operator). The ER company fits into this trend with a series of new generation lightweight tactical knives for professionals: Requiem, Mamba, Scout 2, Defender, Misericordia.

N690 - corrosion-resistant, high-carbon 1.07% (C), martensitic chromium steel 17.30% (Cr) with the addition of molybdenum 1.10% (Mo), vanadium 0.10% (V) and cobalt 1.50% (Co) for structural uniformity. Features exceptionally high corrosion resistance and long edge retention. One of the best tool steels in the world today. Achieves a hardness of 58 HRC. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.

Blade - massive with modern Spearhead (spearhead) profile with diamond-shaped geometry. The blade was finished using the Stone Washed method. Plain blade was derived with a high flat grind (Flat grind). The high grind provides excellent cutting edge geometry, and the false blade facilitates penetration. Lower guard one-sided lower steel hilt / guard to protect the hand from slipping on the blade and upper jimping, a notched section of the back of the blade under the thumb make it easier to hold securely during precision tasks.

Handle - lining with rubber-like properties, made of non-slip thermoplastic elastomer Forprene (flexible return, softness, chemical resistance), provides a secure grip even with wet hands. Screwed directly to the threaded stem with a conical steel head. Such a solution makes the construction solid, and the knife is better balanced. The head with an enlarged lanyard hole can act as a hammer / glass striker.

Sheath - lightweight, injection-molded shell made of impact-resistant reinforced nylon in the color HCS (Hybrid Coyote Sage). The minimalist holster protects the knife from falling out (snap with trigger lever), and the vibration-absorbing dampening system prevents the blade from rattling during movement. The symmetrical design allows the holster's handling to be adjusted for both right- and left-handed users by moving the trigger lever to the other side of the sheath. The universal openwork shell design open at the bottom reduces the weight of the kit and prevents water from collecting inside and reduces the weight of the kit. Reduced to a minimum nylon webbing allows the sheath to be quickly attached to the belt or under the webbing of the M.O.L.L.E. (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) system. A Velcro-fastened lower sheath with a thigh band with rubber reinforcement prevents the sheath from moving on the thigh.
