Design by Massimo Salice Sanna - known as MAX. Since 1993 he was making knives as a hobby, soon his passion became a real job and daily activity. Invited to cooperate by LionSteel because of his precision and attention to construction and mechanical properties of the knives he creates.
D2 - a blade of high-carbon tool steel doped with chromium. It is characterized by high hardness in the range of 58-61 HRC and abrasion resistance.
Blade - satin finish, Drop Point profile with Razor Edge. Mid Back-Lock located in the middle of the handle guarantees better smoothness of operation. Upper Jimping, notched thumb rest on the back for easier knife handling.
Handle - covered with exotic Santos wood facings. Profiled and 3D machined for better ergonomics, provides secure grip. Mounted with Torx screws made of stainless steel.
