Design by Molletta, designed by a well-known, respected Italian designer with many years of experience. Michele Pensato (ps. Molletta), is distinguished by a new approach to the use of materials and experimentation in the application of heat treatment and the use of advanced software in the design of knives.
Sleipner - chrome-molybdenum-vanadium, high-alloy universal tool steel with high wear and chipping resistance. Obtains high hardness 60-61 HRC. Manufactured in a Swedish steel mill Uddeholm.
Head - extremely sharp Drop Point with a well-defined belly. Smooth satin-finished blade Plain brought out flat grind (Flat Grind), which guarantees excellent cutting properties. Finger choil, index finger undercut between the handle and the cutting edge, makes it easier to control the knife and also protects your fingers from slipping on the blade.
Handle - in technology Solid® Knife, obtained from a unique block (one piece) of waterproof micarta processed 4D. Snap fastener keeps the knife from falling out. Compatible with the standard MOLLE allows the holster to be attached under the straps of the system M.O.L.L.E. (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) or carried on a belt or on a mount.
