D2 - high carbon tool steel blade with a touch of chromium. The combination of strength, excellent edge retention and easy sharpening. It is characterized by high hardness in the range of 59-61 HRC and abrasion resistance.
Blade - satin finish, drop point. The thick belly extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the blade, converging towards a needle sharp tip of the knife. Low blade thickness combined with a high Hollow Grind provides excellent cutting characteristics combined with high durability. Ceramic ball bearings support the smooth operation of the blade's opening mechanism, which can be opened with a quick flipper (index-finger flipper). When opened, the flipper forms a mini-guard to prevent your hand from slipping on the blade. On the back of the upper jimping blade, notched thumb rest. Liner lock mechanism.
Handle - G10 plastic linings, purple in color, textured for better grip. The whole is screwed to steel liners. In practice this means many years of work without weakening the structure.
