Steel
AISI 420 MA5M (American Iron and Steel Institute) - martensitic stainless steel rich in carbon 0.15% and containing min. 12% chromium. In the annealed condition it has good formability and excellent corrosion resistance. AISI 420 grade has the highest chromium content of all stainless steels 12-14% and hardness in the range of 52-56 HRC.
Blade
Extremely sharp, precision crafted blade with Spear Point/Bayonet profile, 3.5mm thick with short false point for increased piercing ability. Made of AISI 420 MA5M stainless steel, easy to sharpen with high corrosion resistance. Hardened steel 56 HRC. Plain blade with Flat grind for excellent cutting and penetration properties.
Handle
Covered with serigraphic coloured plastic with black and white camouflage pattern. The grip covers finished with bolsters made of polished nickel, provide comfortable, secure grip. Safety is enhanced by the ergonomic shape of the handle which prevents slipping of the hand during work. Rivets made of brass.
Spring
Special attention is paid to the design of the spring (stainless steel): the opening of the blade must take place within a few hundredths of a second (a feature of Stiletto knives). The Beltrame folder, when opening the blade, emits a characteristic sound (click) that distinguishes it from other spring-loaded knives.
Locking device
Protects against accidental folding or opening of the blade. The automatic knife is opened with a solid button located on the handle.
