DragonFly 2 FRN Zome Green Plain, the second generation of E.D.C.'s ultra-lightweight knife with an undercut head for increased folder control and a hand-dyed multi-color Zome Green handle. Thanks to the improved ergonomics of the Spine Jimping grip and the proportion of the head to the handle we have the impression of working with a much larger folder. The knife's cutting capabilities are surprising in comparison to its small appearance and innocent name DragonFly.
Leaf-Shaped head, 2.5mm thick. Reflection eliminating Satin Finish (semi matt) coating. Plain blade with Full Flat Grind. The flat grind provides excellent cutting edge geometry with a sharp tip and has reduced the weight of the knife. The round SpyderHole cutout (Spyderco patent) allows you to open the knife with your thumb. Solid Back-Lock with additional Boye Detent notch that prevents accidental release of the lock when the knife is firmly gripped. Corrugated thumb ramp and Finger Choil for easy operation between handle and cutting edge.
Handle - hand colored multi-color Zome Green liners. Made of FRN (Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon) plastic. Bi-Directional Texturing provides excellent grip, even with wet hands. Notched ramp and Spine Jimping on the back of the handle increase grip security. Screw-in wire clip (left/right) allows you to carry the knife in tip-up position. Back of handle with lanyard hole for fishing line.
