Balisong (butterfly / batangas / taal / butterfly) a type of folding knife used for defense. Folder derives its name from Balisung in the Philippines meaning butterfly singing. With a pedigree dating back to the 7th century AD, it is considered one of the oldest weapons in the Kali fighting system. It is one of the most recognizable types of knives in the world.

AISI 440A (American Iron and Steel Institute) - an easy-to-sharpen stainless knife steel, equivalent to Japanese AUS-6 steel. A high content of 16.0% chromium and an average of 0.6% carbon provide excellent corrosion resistance. The presence of <1.0% silicon and <0.75% molybdenum increase the steel's strength and wear resistance. 440A has a high hardness in the 55-59 HRC range.

Blade - a sharp Drop Point blade with a thickness of 2.9 mm. Made of easy-to-sharpen 440A stainless steel, characterized by high corrosion resistance. Plain blade, brought out with Flat Grind, providing excellent cutting properties. At the tip we have a Flat Grind on the lower part of the blade and a false blade on the upper part. As a result, the knife has excellent piercing properties while maintaining its strength. When unfolded, the back of the blade forms a guard to prevent fingers from slipping on the blade. The blade is coated with Tactical Matte Gray coating.

Handle - made of aluminum, in which a series of holes have been made to relieve pressure on the knife and improve grip. In addition to the aesthetic advantages, they improve grip security. In the back of the handle there is a latch safety which clips the handle arms together in both the closed and open positions. The axis of rotation of the arms has pivot-pins attached. Like the blade, the handle has been coated with Tactical Matt Gray.
