Lycosa 1 Black G10, a compact full tang fixed blade E.D.C. knife, design by Denis Simonutti. The project of the Italian designer combines a hard to beat quality/price ratio and functionality.

Blade - 3 mm thick with Wharncliffe profile, provides excellent cutting-edge geometry at low resistance. Blade is made of well sharpened 8Cr13MoV stainless steel (equivalent to Japanese AUS-8 steel). Plain type blade with Flat Grind for excellent cutting performance and weight savings. Glare eliminating Black Stonewash coating. Notched support: spine jimping and finger choil, index finger notch between blade and handle.

8Cr13MoV - easy to sharpen stainless knife steel, equivalent to Japanese AUS-8 steel. High content of 13.0% chromium and average 0.8% carbon provides excellent corrosion resistance. The presence of 1.0% silicon, 0.3% molybdenum increase the steel strength and wear resistance. 8Cr13MoV is characterized by high hardness in the range of 57-62 HRC.

Handle - profiled, covered with non-slip textured facings made of black G-10 (durable, resistant to high and low temperatures, chemicals). Facings are attached directly to the tang, which ensures the durability of the construction. Solid, double-sided cut in the handle guarantees ergonomic grip for comfortable work. In the back of the handle a lanyard hole for attaching a lanyard or safety line.

The sheath - made of Kydex®, on the rim there are holes for Tek-Lok or cord attachment.
