8Cr13MoV - easy to sharpen, stainless knife steel, equivalent to Japanese AUS-8 steel. High content of 13.0% chromium and an average of 0.8% carbon provide excellent corrosion resistance. The presence of 1.0% silicon, 0.3% molybdenum increase the steel strength and wear resistance. 8Cr13MoV is characterized by high hardness in the range of 57-59 HRC.
The blade - with Drop Point shape and thickness of 3.1 mm provides an excellent geometry of the cutting edge with low friction. The Full Flat Grind cutting edge is finished with a matte Black Oxide Coating. Plain type blade extends throughout the entire length of the blade allowing for powerful cuts with the heel of the blade. The enlarged 14 mm round SpyderHole cutout (Spyderco patent) makes it easy to open the blade, even with a glove. Notched part of the back of the blade, ramp / spine jimping sets the thumb, gives a solid support, makes it easier to operate the knife.
Skeleton - reinforced with two stainless steel plates together with sheaths provides high strength of construction at low weight of the knife, at the same time forms the basis of the head locking mechanism Liner-Lock, Michael Walker with jimped liner. The whole was bolted together with torx screws. Phosphor bronze washers ensure smooth opening and closing of the pocket knife.
Handle - Bi-Directional textured non-slip facings strengthen the grip. Made of FRN (Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon) plastic, a fiberglass reinforced nylon.
