S600 - a type of steel you don't often come across! High-speed cutting steel with high molybdenum, tungsten content and good quality, providing excellent hardness properties, achieving results and strength. The presence of cobalt causes small, unusual effects that increase in severity when they occur. S600 is hardened and cryogenically treated to achieve a hardness of 64 HRC. This gives a large capacity that is clearly visible. Produced in the Böhler-Uddeholm air steelworks.
Blade - sharp and solid Drop Point type, 5 mm thick, with a cutting edge ensuring extreme cutting performance. The Plain smooth blade is made with a flat grind (Flat Grind). Made of molybdenum high-speed steel Böhler S600 with 4.5% chromium content, which makes it a steel subject to oxidation. For this reason, Extrema Ratio has chosen a new blade coating - EXP DARK, which immortalizes the name of S600 steel, its unique hardness of 64 HRC and information about Cryogenic cryogenic treatment - features that emphasize the uniqueness of this alloy.
Handle - ergonomic, made of Austrian stainless steel Böhler-Uddeholm's S600. The contoured shape of the handle prevents accidental injury during use. Enlarged lanyard hole for pulling a lanyard or cord.
Sheath - made of Kydex, enables quick retrieval of the knife in any situation. In set with paracord cord for hanging knife case on the neck. The holster can be also attached to the M.O.L.L.E. system webbing: to tactical vest or any Extrema Ratio nylon holster. In addition, in combination with optional accessories, it can be attached to a belt.
