Bob Terzuola - was born in Brooklyn, New York and attended New York University. After graduating in 1967, he went to Panama as a Peace Corps instructor and later became a jade carver and gemmologist in the Motagua River Valley of Guatemala.
In 1979, Terzuola began making knives, and in 1981, at the urging of Bob Loveless, he joined the Knifemakers' Guild. Terzuola's first knives were fixed blade knives made for soldiers in Guatemala. Later that year, he moved to New Mexico and began making folding knives. Seeing a need for a knife that could be carried discreetly, he developed a model with black micarta on the blade and sandblasted titanium bolsters. This is the innovative design for which he coined the term "tactical knife". Bob Terzuola attends many of the largest and most famous knife fairs around the world.
Steel
M390 - A blade of the highest quality modern tool powder steel with extremely high corrosion and abrasion resistance. High chrome vanadium steel with a hardness of 58-60 HRC. Manufactured in Austrian steelworks Böhler-Uddeholm.
Blade
Drop point type, wide and solid, finished with Stone Washed method for masking scratches and eliminating light reflections. The smooth Plain blade has been flat ground for strength, excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Flipper flipper when opened creates a mini-guard preventing your hand from slipping on the blade. On the back of the upper jimping blade, a notched thumb rest. Ball bearings are responsible for the smooth and smooth operation of the opening mechanism of the blade, which can be opened with a flipper flipper or by using a pin in the wedge (thumb stud) on both sides.
Frame-Lock - reinforced, monolithic blade lock made of Ti6AI4V titanium. One of the facings which serves as a locking mechanism is reinforced with hardened steel insert protecting against abrasion of the lock face.
Handle
Left-side grip made of green micarta (canvas pressed under pressure with synthetic resin). Right hand (with lock) made of solid titanium Gr.5 Ti6AI4V, very light and strong material. Screwed together with a solid backspacer. Thanks to this construction the knife is very light, while maintaining high strength. Both sides deeply fluted for better grip. Two-position steel deep carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up position. Removable tungsten carbide glassbreaker in back.
Carrying case
The knife is packaged in a zippered soft case made of Cordura with the manufacturer's logo for safe storage or carrying of the folder, with the possibility of clipping it to your belt.
