Steel

CPM-20CV is a martensitic stainless steel with extremely good wear resistance and excellent corrosion resistance. The target hardness is 59-60 HRc. CPM 20CV is a registered trademark of Crucible Industries LLC.

Blade

Drop point type with Silver Bead Blasted finish masking minor scratches. The generous tang extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the blade, converging toward the needle-sharp tip of the knife. Low thickness combined with high Flat Grind gives excellent cutting performance combined with high durability. Ceramic ball bearings support the smooth operation of the blade's opening mechanism, which can be opened with a quick index-finger flipper. When opened, the flipper forms a mini-guard to prevent your hand from slipping on the blade. A milled hole in the blade can also be used for opening. To improve blade control, the back of the wedge is covered with an upper jimping, notched thumb rest. The whole is locked with a modern frame lock.

Handle

Two pieces of solid titanium 6AL4V in grey color. Chamfered edges and fine texture improve grip security. Open-backed construction with titan spacers reduces weight and facilitates cleaning. As in other WE models, the pivot is decorated with a stylized manufacturer's logo. The left/right titanium clip allows you to carry the knife in tip-up position, with the tip of the blade upwards.
