1.4116, X50CrMoV15 - molybdenum-vanadium steel used for high-end knives, cutlery and surgical instruments. It is characterized by a fairly high hardness, as for stainless steels. Resistant to corrosion under kitchen conditions. It is a recommendable alternative to 1.4034 / X46Cr13 / 4H13 material. The chemical composition is enriched with Chromium content, Molybdenum and Vanadium addition.
Blade - extremely sharp with Drop Point shape, perfect for survival and hunting applications. The smooth Plain blade was derived with a concave grind (Hollow Grind), which gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. A false blade on the back of the blade increases the knife's piercing capabilities. The entire blade is finished with an elegant Satin finish.
