D2 - high-carbon, high-chromium high-speed tool steel heat-treated to 58-60 HRC. With a high chromium content of 13.0% (Cr), it offers greater corrosion resistance than most high-carbon steels. Combines strength, excellent edge holding and easy sharpening. Features high wear resistance due to high carbide content in the microstructure.
Blade - Sheepsfoot type with clearly marked belly finished in elegant Satin method. The small thickness of the blade combined with a high flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ball bearings support the smooth operation of the blade's opening mechanism, which can be opened via a hole in the wedge. On the back of the upper jimping wedge, a notched thumb rest. The whole is locked with a solid Liner Lock.
Handle - in black color. Made of G10, a composite material of fiberglass compressed under pressure with synthetic resin. On the willow a thin, decorative layer of Carbon Fiber. The chamfered edges of the covers eliminate sharp edges for comfort, and the jimping made on the front on the liners improves grip security. An open-backed design fixed with steel spacer sleeves reduces weight and makes cleaning easier. A single-position, right-side deep-carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-down position (with the tip of the blade downward). Comes with a velvet pouch for storing the knife.
