MKM Makro 1 Carbon Fiber Knife, Stonewashed M390 by Jesper Voxnæs (MKMA01-CF)

Makro 1 Carbon Fiber, Stonewash, an incredibly handy and easy-to-carry ultra-light 66 g E.D.C. knife with a fixed blade. It features a strong blade with a rounded cutting edge that is extremely versatile and a sheath designed to be carried in a pocket. Designed for self-defense and small jobs. Designed by Danish knifemaker Jesper Voxnaes.

M390 - martensitic high-performance chrome steel produced by powder metallurgy. Due to the alloy concept, it has extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Due to its high wear resistance, it adequately maintains the shape of the edge, so the blade stays sharp for a very long time (requiring minimal maintenance). Another of the advantages is resistance to the formation of "wire" during sharpening. The steel has a high chromium content of 20.0% (Cr) doped with 1.9% carbon (C), vanadium 4.0% (V), hardened between 59-61 HRC, vacuum and cryogenic treatment and double tempering. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter's CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.

Blade - Drop point type with a prominent belly provides excellent edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Plain blade brought out with Full Flat Grind, finished with Stonewash. Finger choil, a deep undercut for the index finger between the handle and the cutting edge, facilitates control of the knife and protects fingers from slipping on the blade.

Handle - smooth, polished Carbon Fiber liners. Screwed directly to the steel, they provide a virtually indestructible design. All clad knives are equipped with a 6/8 Torx key screwdriver, which allows you to remove the covers and convert the knife into a skeletonized handle grips version. The unique ergonomics allow the knife to be held both ways. On the back of the handle an enlarged lanyard hole, a hole for a cord.

Sheath - made of leather, lightweight, with an innovative double magnetic clasp for carrying in a pocket. Adapted for both right and left-handed people.
