9Cr18MoV - high-grade stainless knife steel. A high content of 18.0% chromium (Cr) and an average of 0.95% carbon (C) provide high hardness and corrosion resistance, while the addition of alloying elements 1.3% molybdenum (Mo), 0.8% silicon (Si), 0.12% vanadium (V) increase strength and wear resistance. 9Cr18MoV is characterized by high hardness in the range of 58-60 HRC. It is used in the production of knives, including damascus and surgical blades, swords, scissors, cutlery.
Blade - Drop Point type with clearly marked belly finished with elegant Satin method. The small thickness of the blade combined with a high, flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ceramic ball bearings support the smooth operation of the blade's opening mechanism, which can be opened by gravity with a release button on one of the handles or with a quick flipper flipper (index-finger flipper). When opened, the flipper forms a mini-guard to prevent the hand from slipping on the blade. On the back of the upper jimping wedge, a notched thumb rest. The whole thing is locked with a solid button lock. Under the lock button is a spring, providing enough resistance to avoid accidental opening.
