Mikov Predator Palisander Santos, Mirror N690 Knife (241-BD-1/KP)

Predator Palisander Santos, Mirror N690 automatic knife (swichblade) by the Czech company Mikov from Mikulasovice with a Mirror Finish blade made of N690 steel. The Mikulasovic region has specialised in the production of knife products since 1794, being called the "Czech Solingen".

Robust, durable construction, strong springs opening the wedge, the possibility of replacing them without taking the knife apart are unique features of Mikov Predator spring knives. The folder when opening emits a characteristic click that distinguishes Predator automatics from other spring knives. Thanks to its characteristics, it is suitable for use in any environment on hunting, while camping as an EDC. It is worth noting that one of the models was used in the movie "Casino Royale" by Agent 007.

Lever Lock - a secure mechanism for locking the blade. Located on the handle, the folding lever is used for both opening and folding the blade. The design of the mechanism prevents accidental folding / opening. It is worth noting that all models of Mikov Predator spring knives, have a unique system of safe replacement of opening springs without disassembling the knife. If they are damaged, the opening springs must be replaced with new ones (# 241-SPRING).

N690 - corrosion-resistant, high-carbon 1.07% (C), martensitic chromium steel 17.30% (Cr) with molybdenum 1.10% (Mo), vanadium 0.10% (V) and cobalt 1.50% (Co) for structural uniformity. Features exceptionally high corrosion resistance and long edge retention. One of the best tool steels in the world today. It achieves a hardness of 57-60 HRC. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.

Blade - Spear Point type, slim and extremely sharp finished impressively in mirror (Mirror Finish). The smooth Plain blade was derived with a flat grind, which provides strength, excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. The pads are responsible for the smooth and smooth operation of the blade's opening mechanism, which can be opened with the Lever Lock lever.

Handle - ergonomic, profiled for the hand provides an excellent grip when working, even with wet hands. Facings made of hard exotic palisander santos. There are no two identical-looking copies, each pair of wooden covers has a unique pattern. Blade socket finished with a stainless steel bolster.

Case - fastened with a Prym type snap. Made of high quality natural brown leather with embossed manufacturer's logo. The leather scabbard has an attachment to the belt or the equipment allowing to carry the knife in an upright position.
