Mikov Predator Red Raffir, Mirror N690 Knife (241-BRa-1/KP Red)

Predator Raffir Red, Mirror, an automatic knife (swichblade) from the Czech company Mikov of Mikulasovice with a N690 steel blade and facings made of the phenomenal Raffir composite material with an amazing 3D pattern. The region has specialized in the production of knife products since 1794, being called the "Czech Solingen".

Robust, sturdy construction, strong springs that open the blade, and the possibility to replace them without taking the knife apart are the unique features of Mikov Predator spring knives. The folder when opening emits a characteristic click that distinguishes Predator automatics from other spring knives. Thanks to its characteristics, it is suitable for use in any environment on hunting, while camping as an EDC. It is worth noting that one of the models was used in the movie "Casino Royale" by Agent 007.

N690 - corrosion-resistant, high-carbon 1.07% (C), martensitic chromium steel 17.30% (Cr) with molybdenum 1.10% (Mo), vanadium 0.10% (V) and cobalt 1.50% (Co) for structural uniformity. Features exceptionally high corrosion resistance and long edge retention. One of the best tool steels in the world today. It achieves a hardness of 57-60 HRC. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.

Lever-lock - secure locking mechanism of the blade. Located on the handle, the folding lever is used both for opening and for folding the blade. The design of the mechanism prevents accidental folding / opening. It is worth noting that all models of Mikov Predator spring knives, have a unique system of safe replacement of opening springs without disassembling the knife. If they are damaged, the opening springs must be replaced with new ones (# 241-SPRING).

Blade - Dagger type, slim and extremely sharp finished impressively in Mirror Finish. The smooth Plain blade was derived with a flat grind, which provides strength, excellent cutting-edge geometry, and extreme cutting performance. The washers are responsible for the smooth and smooth operation of the blade's opening mechanism, which can be opened with the Lever Lock lever.

Handle - made of transparent Raffir epoxy resin. After machining and polishing the facings, a unique translucent three-dimensional pattern of incredible depth and character appears. The blade socket ends with a bolster made of stainless steel.

Case - fastened with a snap button. Made of natural leather in black with embossed manufacturer's logo. The sheath has a fastening to the belt or the equipment allowing to carry the knife in an upright position.
