Grzegorz "Kombou" Grabarski - Polish graphic designer, photographer and talented designer, the main creator of knife designs at Bestech Knives. Known for his unconventional ideas, breaking the stereotypes of knife design. A long collaboration with Bestech has resulted in exquisitely crafted knives made of the finest materials, with unique looks.
Buwaya - in the Filipino Tagalog dialect means "crocodile", the design of the knife is a reference to this animal.
M390 Microclean® - martensitic high-performance chrome steel produced by powder metallurgy. Due to the alloy concept, it has extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Due to its high wear resistance, it adequately maintains the shape of the edge, so the blade stays sharp for a very long time (requiring minimal maintenance). Another of the advantages is resistance to the formation of "wire" during sharpening. The steel has a high chromium content of 20.0% (Cr) doped with 1.9% carbon (C), vanadium 4.0% (V), and is hardened between 59-61 HRC. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter's CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
Blade - Drop point type coated in Black Stonewashed method. The elongated belly extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the blade converging towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade provides high strength while the high, flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ceramic ball bearings support the opening of the blade with a quick flipper (index-finger flipper) when opened acting as a stinger. We can also open the knife using a milled recess in the wedge (thumb slot). A section of the back of the wedge is covered with an upper jimping, a notched thumb rest for easy control of the knife. The whole thing is locked with a proven and popular frame lock with a steel liner to prevent wiping of the lock face.
Handle - is two pieces of solid titanium 6AL4V. Chamfered edges of the covers eliminate sharp edges for comfort and improve grip security, additional decoration in the shape of crocodile scales. The solid backspacer to which the facings are attached guarantees the rigidity and strength of the entire structure. A single-position, right-handed titanium clip allows the knife to be carried in tip-up position, with the tip of the blade upward. The protruding part of the backspacer creates a hole for threading a belaying or decorative cord, and can also be used as a glass breaker.
Case - the knife is packed in a zippered nylon soft pouch with the brand's logo for safe carrying and storage of the folder.
