14C28N - a martensitic chromium stainless steel is the latest development in the range of knife steels produced by Sandvik's Swedish mills. An optimized chemical composition with a unique combination provides superior quality, excellent edge performance, high hardness and corrosion resistance. By reducing the amount of carbon 0.62% (C) and increasing the chromium content 14.0% (Cr), as well as adding nitrogen 0.11% (N), corrosion resistance has been significantly improved. Considered an improved version of 13C26 steel. Unbeatable in the price / quality category!

Blade - Reverse Tanto type, finished with a scratch-masking Black Stonewashed method. The long blade converges towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. A mixed grind is used here, in the rear part is a high, concave grind for cutting and precision work, the so-called Hollow Ground Primary Bevel. In the front part, we have a high, flat ground to reinforce the Flat Ground tip. To improve piercing capabilities, an unsharpened false blade is brought out at the top. Ceramic ball bearings support the opening of the blade via a longitudinal hole in the blade (Thumb Hole). The entire blade is locked with the proven Liner Lock.

Handle - green G10 (pressure-pressed fiberglass with synthetic resin) facings, with a toxic finish for improved grip security, are bolted to the knife's steel frame. The open-backed design, so called, fastened together with steel spacer sleeves, reduces weight and makes cleaning easier. The simple, sturdy design gives assurance of many years of use. The pivot axis is decorated with a stylized manufacturer's logo. A single-position (right) metal deep-carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up position (blade tip up).

Case - the knife is packed in a zippered soft nylon case with the manufacturer's logo for safe storage and transportation of the folder.
