High Speed D2 - high-carbon, high-chromium high-speed tool steel heat-treated to 58-60 HRC. With a high 13.0% chromium (Cr) content, it offers greater corrosion resistance than most high-carbon steels. Combines strength, excellent edge holding and easy sharpening. Blade - reverse tanto type, finished in an elegant Satin method. The slightly curved cutting edge converges towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade provides high strength while the high, flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. The knife can be opened with a quick flipper flipper (index-finger flipper) when opened acting as a deicer. As a result, it can be used by right- and left-handed people without any problems. Handle - grips made of exotic Ziricote wood, with a beautiful and unique grain pattern. Chamfered edges of the covers eliminate sharp edges and the textured surface improves grip security. The pivot axis decorated with a bronze anodized ring, in the same color of the backspacer. A single-position (right) deep-carry clip allows the knife to be carried in tip-up position, with the tip of the blade upward. Above the clip a hole for threading a safety or decorative cord.
