K390 MICROCLEAN - state-of-the-art powder-coated cold working tool steel. Hardened in the range of 62-66 HRC. Advanced alloy composition with high vanadium, tungsten and cobalt content provides strength and excellent sharpness retention. Manufactured at the Böhler-Uddeholm steelworks in Austria.
Blade - with Leaf-Shaped profile (leaf shape) with elegant Satin finish. The small thickness of the blade combined with a high, flat grind (Flat Grind) gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Precision-ground blades made from Austrian K390 tool steel, offer an excellent balance of edge holding and corrosion resistance. Plain smooth blade.
Handle - in blue, the color reserved for this type of blade steel. Made of FRN (Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon), a fiberglass-reinforced nylon, it features bi-directional non-slip textured grips (Bi-Directional Texturing) for excellent grip in a glove as well as with greasy, dirty or wet hands. Extended Jimping (textured grooves), notched thumb rest on the back of the blade for improved and comfortable grip. In the back of the Handle a hole (lanyard hole) for a rope.
Sheath - made of hardened Boltaron polymer, holsters and cases made of it are characterized by scratch and chemical resistance. Equipped with a multi-position G-Clip handle with two adjusting screws, which allows carrying on a belt or on a mount in six different positions.
