N690Co - cobalt-rich 1.65% (Co) corrosion-resistant, high-carbon 1.07% (C), martensitic chromium steel 17.30% (Cr) with molybdenum 1.10% (Mo), vanadium 0.10% (V). Developed to provide better wear resistance compared to the original Böhler N690 steel, but with higher cobalt (Co) content in its composition. It features exceptionally high corrosion resistance and long edge retention. One of the best tool steels in the world today. Hardened in the 58-61 HRC range. Blade - Hawkbill type, coated with a scratch-masking black Top Shield® coating. Plain blade allows for efficient cuts with the entire cutting surface as well as the ultra-thin tip. high, flat grind (Flat Grind) gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. To maintain full control of the blade, there is a notched thumb rest on the back of the upper jimping wedge. The protruding "spike" allows the application of painful pressure on vital points or the use of advanced disarming techniques. A secure and proven liner lock is used here.

Handle - non-slip textured grips for better grip. Made of G10, a virtually indestructible plastic that is insensitive to weather conditions, resistant to chemicals and mechanical damage. Chamfered edges on the covers eliminate sharp edges and textured surfaces improve grip confidence. Fore Finger Groove, a deep cut for the index finger, and a finger ring back ring / tail ring / pommel ring prevent the knife from slipping when the going gets tough.
