Chaparral Raffir Noble, Satin. Chaparral is the name of a shrub native to the western part of the United States. It has a unique ability to survive in harsh conditions and regenerate quickly. Chaparral unique series of ultralight, compact folders based on the same design platform, differing in finish and type of grips. Probably the thinnest Spyderco, a knife for gentlemen (gentleman's knife), does not weigh down the pocket, attracts attention with its elegant design. One of the best EDC folding knives.
CTS XHP - extremely corrosion-resistant, modern American high-carbon and high-chrome powder steel. Designed for the production of high-grade blades and knives. Manufactured at the mills of Carpenter Technology Co.
Blade - 1.9 mm thick with Leaf Shaped profile (leaf shape). Plain blade, brought out with a Full Flat Grind. The flat grind guarantees perfect geometry of the cutting edge with a sharp tip, reduces the weight of the knife and presents a beautiful satin finish. The enlarged 14mm round SpyderHole cutout (Spyderco patent) makes it easier to open the blade with cold or wet hands. Notched supports: under the thumb, ramp (spine jimping) and (finger choil jimping), an index finger undercut between the Handle and the cutting edge make it easier to control the knife. Placed in the middle, a strong Blade Back-Lock.
Raffir - transparent epoxy resin, can be colored. After machining and polishing, a unique translucent three-dimensional pattern of incredible depth and character appears.
Handle - profiled, covered with ultra-thin grips made of Raffir Noble with an amazing pattern. The folder is equipped with a screw-on wire clip (left/right) allowing to carry the knife in tip-up position (tip up).
