X50CrMoV15 (1.4116) - a high-carbon, molybdenum-vanadium martensitic stainless steel, highly resistant to corrosion and wear. Used in the manufacture of knives, high-end cutlery and surgical instruments. It is characterized by a fairly high, for stainless steels, hardness of 57-58 HRC. The chemical composition of the steel is enriched with an admixture of 15.0% Chromium, 0.80% Molybdenum, 0.20% Vanadium.
The steel has been subjected to CRYO-T cryogenic treatment, also known as freeze-thawing. Thanks to CRYO-T, the homogeneous internal structure of the steel is obtained, which translates into a significant increase in the strength of the blade, increasing resistance to impact, stress and torsion.
Blade - a wide, solid Drop Point blade finished with a scratch-masking Stonewashed method. Despite its thickness, the full flat grind provides excellent cutting properties combined with excellent durability. A low descending guard prevents fingers from slipping on the blade while working. On the back of the blade a finger notch.
Handle - made of exotic coral pakkawood with a unique pattern. Chamfered edges of the covers eliminate sharp edges for comfortable grip. The covers were screwed with decorative screws directly to the tang, making the whole structure very rigid and durable. The contoured handle provides good control over the knife. In the back there is a lanyard hole, a hole for a safety or decorative cord.
Sheath - hand-stitched, made of natural brown leather with embossed manufacturer's logo. The attachment to the belt or the armor allows the knife to be carried in an upright position.
