This product is intended for use only by adults with knowledge and experience in handling sharp cutting tools. Improper use of the knife can result in serious injuries. N690Co - cobalt-rich 1.65% (Co) corrosion-resistant, high-carbon 1.07% (C), martensitic chromium steel 17.30% (Cr) with molybdenum 1.10% (Mo), vanadium 0.10% (V). Developed to provide better wear resistance compared to the original Böhler N690 steel, but with higher cobalt (Co) content in its composition. It features exceptionally high corrosion resistance and long edge retention. One of the best tool steels in the world today. Hardened in the range of 58-61 HRC. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
Black Idroglider® Stone Washed - The blade has undergone a Stone Washed finish that masks minor scratches. Subsequently, the durability of the blade surface and cutting edge was enhanced with a scratch-resistant, matte black non-reflective protective coating made of PTFE. It ensures long life and resistance to rust.
Blade - Sheepsfoot type, finished with a scratch-masking Stonewashed method and then coated with a black Teflon-based Black Idroglider® coating. The gently curved cutting edge converges toward the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade provides high strength while the high, flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Washers are responsible for the smooth operation of the blade's opening mechanism, thanks to which the knife can be opened with a dual thumb stud in the blade on both sides (dual thumb stud) ideal for right and left-handed people. The whole thing is locked with the proven and popular liner lock.
Handle - grips made of G10 (pressure-pressed fiberglass with synthetic resin), textured to improve grip confidence, are bolted to the knife's steel frame. The whole is stiffened by a solid backspacer. The simple, sturdy design gives you the assurance of many years of use. A two-position (right/left) metal deep-carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up position (blade tip up). On the back of the Handle a lanyard hole, a hole for threading a safety or decorative cord.
Case - included zippered soft nylon case with the manufacturer's logo for safe storage and transportation of the folder.
