D2 - a high-carbon, high-chromium high-speed tool steel heat-treated to 58-60 HRC. With a high chromium content of 13.0% (Cr), it offers greater corrosion resistance than most high-carbon steels. Combines strength, excellent edge retention and easy sharpening. Features high wear resistance due to the high carbide content in the microstructure.
Blade - Drop point type with a clearly marked belly, covered with a black protective coating. The small thickness of the blade in combination with the high, flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ball bearing ceramic supports the smooth operation of the blade's opening mechanism, which can be opened by gravity via a release button on one of the Handle, a double-sided peg in the blade or via a quick flipper flipper (index-finger flipper). When opened, the flipper forms a mini-guard to prevent the hand from slipping on the blade. On the back of the upper jimping wedge, a notched thumb rest. The entire blade is locked with a solid button lock. There is a spring under the lock button, providing sufficient resistance to avoid accidental opening.
Handle - in green. Made of aluminium, whose chamfered cover edges eliminate sharp edges for comfort and the fore finger groove on the front improves grip security. The open-backed design, fixed with steel spacer sleeves, reduces weight and facilitates cleaning. The two-position right/left deep carry clip allows the knife to be carried discreetly in the pocket in the tip-up position (blade tip up).
Case - the knife is packaged in a zipped soft nylon case with the brand logo. It is used to safely store and transport the folder.
