14C28N - a martensitic chromium stainless steel is the latest development in the range of knife steels produced by Sandvik's Swedish mills. An optimised chemical composition with a unique combination provides superior quality, excellent edge performance, high hardness and corrosion resistance. By reducing the amount of carbon 0.62% (C) and increasing the chromium content 14.0% (Cr), as well as adding nitrogen 0.11% (N), corrosion resistance is significantly increased. Blade - Sheepsfoot blade with incredibly sharp tip, finished with an elegant satin finish. The straight cutting edge converges towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The small thickness of the blade, combined with the high, flat grind (Flat Grind), results in a perfect cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. To make the blade easier to control, a section of the back of the blade is covered with an upper jimping, notched thumb rest.
Handle - tang with a large hole for attaching a paracord pendant, for example. At the bottom you will find a large, profiled finger bow. The simple, robust construction guarantees many years of use.
